BCALA in partnership with North Carolina Central University will preserve the history of African American Librarianship and make accessible the EJ Josey papers.
Elonnie Junius Josey, better known as E. J. Josey was the second African-American presidentĀ of the American Library Association. He organized the Black Caucus of the American Library Association (BCALA) in 1970.
